Those 4 Louisiana recruits in bold are crucial to the success of this class. Bring them home.

Leigh isn’t a Louisiana recruit but still a need for us. A big one.

That’s 20 commits assuming the 4 in bold are in the fold that leaves 6 potential spots with many elite recruits on the board Who’s left??
#1 overall SDE Korey Foreman
#22 overall CB Ga’Quincy McKinstry
#84 overall S Corey Collier
#88 overall CB Nyland Green
#91 overall TE Thomas Fidone
#123 overall CB Nathaniel Wiggins
#136 overall SDE Bryce Langston
#154 overall TE Michael Trigg
#208 overall OG Dietrick Pennington
#364 overall S Jardin Gilbert
#428 overall OT Diego Pounds

Gotta have Wiggins —
He’s not 123rd for long! He’s Pushing Top 32 and Five Star — Wiggins over Green and McKinstry just to phuck Saban

Lol Hundley isn’t getting dropped. Kid is so underrated. If he were to have a season this year he would go up to a 4 star

I also don't think you ever want to have only 1 interior Dlineman (especially with a 4-3 scheme) in any recruiting cycle. Playing with fire regarding quality depth.

LSU has never finished at 300 or above on the composite ranking.

With just adding Leigh, Smith, Ryan and Thomas we already get to 296.

So the likelihood is we finally break through.

My projection is:

Leigh
Smith
Ryan
Thomas
Collier
Green
Fidone
Wiggins
Pennington
Pounds

That's not pie in the sky predictions, as would be the case with adding the likes of Foreman, McKinstry instead.

So I think the list is pretty grounded in reasonableness.

That gets us to just under 312 points.

Rarified air is 315+ where only few teams (8) have ever ended up. LSU would be a big surprise commit away from getting there.

Maybe I missed this somewhere in an earlier thread, but does anyone know why exactly Ohio States punter is rated and ours is not?

I'll take a stab at it:

CB/S Sage Ryan
OT Tristan Leigh
DT Maason Smith
WR Brian Thomas
OT Diego Pounds
OT/OG Dietrick Pennington
TE Thomas Fidone (Michael Trigg as a fall back)
CB Nathaniel Wiggins
RB Ke'Travion Hargrove
And one more safety/cornerback, maybe Nyland Green?

That's assuming we sign a full 26 and if we do, that would give us:

2-5*
21-4*
3-3*

Extremely talented and extremely deep class while filling positions of need. I like that.

Great question... I thought Todd was number 1 punter prospect but don’t see him ranked on 247?

I think this makes sense but you’d have to find a place for an OLB. Coach O said we might snag 1-2.

I have no idea. That’s what he said on the OTB interview. I’m assuming some of the OLB’s we recruited last class were meant to transition to stand up DE/OLB. Maybe they don’t fit pelini’s mold for an OLB?

I’ll take a stab as well:
S Ryan
T Leigh
M Smith
B Thomas
N Wiggins
I Johnson
M Trigg
D Pounds
K Hargrove
K Foreman

I didn’t want us to grab another RB but O has stated he’s planning on getting another one. And I’ll Take Foreman as my surprise recruit.
