With Triggs most likely to OU or Ole Miss, what other TE prospects are there available. Or do we just wait until spring/summer for possible TE portal player.

We're waiting at this point. Nobody else in the portal worth going after at TE. There will be more that pop up over time.

Yup. I think we just make sure we get Danny Lewis on NSD, hopefully we can find a veteran TE though because Kole Taylor just isn't it. No disrespect to him.

Why didn't they go after trigg?

I don't think he's a bad player, I just feel like he isnt a SEC caliber TE. He's to small in trenches, while he does have the height. He got bullied a lot blocking.

He's raw, but i think he could be a solid TE if he puts it all together. denbrock is a TE guy, i'm sure he'd lvoe to work with a guy like Washington. Maybe it's something Hankton can pull here.

A kid I would love to see come into the portal is Tucker Kraft from South Dakota State. He's the FCS All-American tight end and it's amazing how much like Dallas Goedert, who also came from South Dakota State, Kraft is.
Big 6-5 kid who caught like 60 passes as a sophomore last year.
I wonder if Denbrock might make a suggestion through intermediaries that if Kraft wanted to play big-time football he'd have that opportunity at LSU, and see what happens.

Kole Taylor plays to soft. No running plays worked last year when he was in game. Masburn was only TE that gave us a chance to run.
I am not sure at this point in his career any coach can make him aggressive and have the will to block. Miracles do happen though

It appears Washington has removed everything UGA related off his IG. Obviously that could mean nothing in today's day in age, but being passed up by Bowers, and UGA getting another commit from a top TE he very well may be looking at portal.

Because he’s a package with Dart. That’s pretty apparent now.
If it comes down to an NIL fight, I wouldn’t expect Ole Myth to beat out OU.
