I wanted whoever the coaches wanted. I believed (and still believe) that there are serious red flags about this guy's attitude and baggage. But the coaches seemed to want him, so I would have liked to see him here.

Not going to lose any more sleep over him than I did over the other couple of hundred guys that didn't sign with LSU. I spend enough time caring about the great guys we've got, not enough time left to care about the rest.

After reading the recruiting posts for weeks now, I would have to say over 80% of LSU fans DID NOT want BB. Am I off base? The negative posts about him were considerably higher than the positives.

Initially, when LSU was not in the mix, prolly 80%. As LSU appeared to have more of a shot, the number who did not want BB got significantly lower. Now, it is close to 90%

I didn't want him. We were fine without him, plus all that agent/posse garbage made him just way too high maintenance.

Good =) So stop talking about him then. You all sound arse-sore.

I have to listening you UT fans on sports talk radio. The drive home today is going to be interesting. BTW, Brown is obviously and attention hog with questionable character, but he wont be the 1st RB at UT with these traits.

Brown is going to be complaining and crying because the SEC defenses are going tee off on him IF he even plays...NO QB AND NO OFFENSIVE LINE!

After the Perillioux fiasco I didn't want another primadonna and that's what this kid is.

I admit I wanted him...

but apparently his sign from God to go to UT was Lacey Pearl...a UT hostess

I don't think the fast took, it was lust instead...

he is just a kid...we have to remember that...I was a mess at that age, and I am still a mess

Most wanted him till he went to Tennessee, so now most are saying they never did want him. Bottom line, in a few years he's going to be the one wishing he had come to LSU!!!

There's a big difference between being a prima donna while still contributing to your team in a positive way (see "Ocho Cinco" from a few years ago) to being a prima donna and being a locker room cancer (see Terrell Owens).

Time will tell which kind of prima donna Bryce Brown turns out to be. I don't think anyone really knows right now.

Thank God LSU fans don't actually do any recruiting, or coaching. They suck enough as fans..well, since they are winning again maybe they are ok! Good thing LSU (came back) to beat Troy..no telling what they'd have done

I can't speak for everyone else, but for me I never really though we had a chance. It's not that I didn't want him, I just never thought we were ever seriously in the running.

well since your never in any major recruiting race for top recruits you have no reason to bitch or complain about it. USL just takes whatever they can get and the ones that LSU dont want

I've never understood how this is used as a put-down. If we had lost, sure, but LSU won the fricking game

Well I can tell you one thing for sure. I never wanted him at LSU. He may turn out to be a great player and a good kid. But with LSU's talent level where it is at now why take a chance on a guy with all these ppl hanging onto him? He has a very high potential to be a problem in the lockeroom bigtime. No need to LSU to take a chance with a potential problem like him, LSU has great runningbacks already here.

Previous posts of mine support the "I don't want" him mentality I had, the most positive it ever got was when I said I didn't care anymore. I trust the coaches too, it just doesn't mean I agree all the time. It's not like he went to a team who could threaten us anyway.
