I wouldn't have posted it except it was an interview with a reporter from their NBC affiliate. Not a "Billy Bob." The reporter went on record and said he interviewed Randle's father. I don't know 97.7 or their rep other than that they are an ESPN affiliate. It's not like an anonymous source. It's an identified source (Randle's father) from a legitimate news outlet (NBC).
I hope the guy is completely wrong but that is what is being reported.

ESPN Radio reported that the local NBC reporter is going to air the story tonight that RR's father stated if Benton goes to LSU...Randle goes elsewhere because RR was told that Benton would be ahead of him automatically. Here's the link to listen.

We talked to the reporter at NBC 10 who has been doing a special following Ruebens recruitment throughout the process. He talked to RR's Dad today and he is doing a story on it tonight that if benton signs with lsu randle wont. WE didnt start the rumor , we just interviewed the man that talked to his father today. I hope this situation changes in the net few hours.

BS. They would both be incoming freshman. There is no way RR was told that Benton would automatically be ahead of him.
