Its not mickey its an asst coach who is a huge bammer. Good guy but I give him crap about being a bama fan all the time. He certainly has a bias towards the tide.

That was my radio show at the time. Fox and company 97.7 in monroe. To add to the story 30 mins after Reubens dad called into the show my secretary came running into the studio saying you need to take a break and take this call.It was the lsu coaches office. After talking to I think Dj Mccarthy at the time i had a nice 20 minute convo with Les. Needless to say it was one of the craziest moments I had in radio.Brad Bradshaw who was the coach at the time at Bastrop later told me we could write one hell of a book about the benton and randle recruiting saga.
ever watch a Duke game? Nothing but nerds and its the best crowd in all of college basketball. As long as they are loud who cares.

From someone who is from Mandeville and lived and worked in the sports talk world in Monroe for the last 10 years this town is still as pro tigers as it gets. Unfortunately you will always find Billy Bandwagon who wants to pull for the team who is currently winning ie bama. Was there a cheer for Hootie yes. However the cheers came from teammates and family. Much like They were when Cam Robinson made his choice.

That was former West Monroe Rebel Andy Slocum in the flesh. Amazing what Vince can make the guys looks like on the juice.
Umm unless im reading something wrong Joe Schad was right. Cecil Newton and Kenny Rogers were guilty or pay for play. If anything this vindicates Schad. Now I think he thought the punishment would be alot worse than it was.

For those with comcast i just hot the dvr to record on channel 395 for hd..Dont know about those with satellite.

I went to the comcast office in the area today sat down with the manager and she showed me the email that the games for pre season will be on 78 and 395 hd. If for some reason they arent I will riot with you in the morning.

Really How often are you going to see the Lombardi and Halas Trophy in the bleeping Monroe Civic Center? Really great crowd all day long couldnt disagree more..Well worth the trip.
He would have to get a waiver from the NCAA to play this year.
Yea I think he would work well in the offense. Franklin recruited him at Auburn. Worth the risk if your Tech.
