Per DD.... TR has decommited

that is two sources that have said this since yesterday. granted both are questionable.

DD has been mentioning this for a while now and that we had a real good chance of landing him. Let's see if this is really true and if we do sign him, will all the DD bashers here give him credit.

I put the chances at around 10% that we'll get Richardson. I put our chances at signing Patrick Johnson (Peterson) at 0%.

It is becoming painful to read ole Don, but for some reason I keep doing it. I hope his extreme homerism becomes truth in this case, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

I would love to get TR away from Bama and Coach Satan. Don't get me wrong, I know that Coach Satan did a lot for the LSU football program. But he did not do any more than what Coach Miles is doing now.
The only recruits that Coach Satan is getting from Louisiana are the ones with grade problems and LSU is staying away from them. So I don't see Coach Satan as this all great recruiter. Sure he close the door on other teams coming into Louisiana and getting the top recruits. So has Coach Miles. But Coach Miles has a better win/lost record here at LSU, than does Coach Satan.

I usually take these reports with a grain of salt. Especially with DD, but why is it that there really any more discussion about this? I mean, I understand that there's no solid, concrete evidence of a decommitment, but if this were the other way around, alot of these guys would be playing "Where there's smoke!" card.

it really feels like Trent is having second thoughts about Bama and wants a new school but cant find the perfect fit. LSU isnt right because we have so many backs and hopefully Lache and Hilliard in the years to come, Florida isn't right because they dont use backs like him, and bama isnt right because its in Alabama. honest to god i wouldn't be surprised if he went past signing day at this point.

I guarantee you that Saban is kicking a scraming at people right now. Probably beating his dog and wife too, and yelling " Well this was no boating accident!", while Miles is walking around proclaiming "We're going to need a bigger boat!"

If he really decommitted, it would have been on rivals by now and its not. It's not even being discussed on the Bama board. If big news like that was actually true, they'd be going apeshit.

If true this would be great for LSU's chances, but I think we have a stud in Michael Ford. This kid is something special. I believe he is going to have a great career in a tiger uniform
