Are you kidding me? Gamble couldn’t keep the ball between the sidelines. It’s like calling someone that hits a lot of long foul balls a great HR hitter. He didn’t even kick field goals for his HS team because of accuracy issues. People I talked to that attended kicking camps were shocked that Les offered him a full ride.

I’m pretty sure I know where you were going with this, but Terrace Marshall Jr. was the last recruit from Parkway and I’d say he did pretty well for us.

I seem to remember a lot of his kicks being out of bounds.

You know we've had a black kicker just within the past 8 years right?

Not sure what games you’ve been watching. Avery Atkins was far better on kickoffs.

There are no degrees of uniqueness. One kicker is not “more unique” than another. Unique means “one of a kind.”

That was mostly idiots Miles and BDP trying their stupid coffin corner bait the return guy into running into a wall strategy

When he just lined up to kick it normally he would absolutely leather it

Ludicrous. Avery Atkins was the best KO kicker I’ve ever seen. Not just at LSU.

I’m curious why they didn’t list his senior kicking stats

bullshite bruh. Ratphuc Hobley sent a kickoff out of the SEZ his first collegiate kickoff. People had to shield their children from Ratphuc's kickoffs. Dude was a stud. Easily our best kicker.

I know it’s apples to oranges but Brad wing was a pretty non-typical punter. Would be cool to see a kicker with swagger like that.

At some point back there were camps in Louisiana where the #1 2023, 2024 (not Burrell), 2025, and 2026 kickers in the country all trained together. Pretty cool.

The #1 2023, 2024 (not Burrell), and 2025 all had multiple SEC offers before their Jr year of high school…none from LSU. The ‘26 will probably get a look, but UGA has their hooks in already.

Ramos hadn’t gotten the credit he deserves. He’s quietly been very good for us at kicker. I hope we finally get to see Peyton Todd at punter next year.

Ramos got a year with York. Getting to see Cade prepare himself for the pros, after his sophomore year, had to be unreal. He’s both lucky to have had that, and very smart to have molded those habits into his makeup. I love how composed Ramos is as a kicker. He’ll kick at LSU until his end. RS freshman to senior yr…impressive from where he was recruited.
