Really my only knock outside of ball security is he plays a little street lot style and his mechanics are a bit off bc he doesn't set his feet and his release point is all over the place. That being said, it works for him bc he throws very accurately despite the form. Definitely a gunslinger.
He actually reminds me of Mahomes from a mechanics and playing style. I'm not saying as talented. Just watching him play he has that sort of strange style.

Yeah, I agree with your mechanics comment but I was afraid of downvotes so I left that out before. 1) throws a lot off his back foot and 2) in a similar vein, he turns in his follow through. But as you stated, amazingly the ball was right there, sometimes in a narrow window so who cares! I only remember 2 bad decisions out of 40 throws and the INT was NOT one of them.

This is a very good comparison in my opinion and in no way a slight.

Now I really can’t wait for the next NCAA football 2014 roster download. A gunslinger for a QB and an aggressive 4-3 defense should be fun.

Is Walker Howard finally playing? Wasn't he the backup until this season?
He played Thursday in a scrimmage against Notre Dame and their regular season starts this week against Plaquemine, and yes, he was backup to Caleb Holstein the last 2 years.

Sideline view makes it look like a laser guided missile dropping on target. LINK
