Yeah, and it’s getting tiresome. I think a lot of people are kind of just getting done with it. It could be partly because it seems down the stretch we miss on everybody, and I mean Jackson we all knew we were done at this point for him.

correct. I was arguing against the person who claimed "all he does is give us false hope".
reality: All he does is tell us how the coaches feel.

You suck. You don't have any inside information. You're a fake and full of shite!

I never said all he does was give us false hope my guy. At some point if 90% of the information you have from your sources turns out wrong, where does that leave us? I don’t expect anything from Vol, he’s a good dude, I’m just saying, some people treat him like some god, and a lot of times there is hope that is built up only for some fans who follow this to be let down. I mean honestly did I just say anything that was wrong?

The problem isn’t the info, or the guy that brings it here, the problem lies within you simple minded fricks who don’t understand how fluid these situations are and can’t correctly interpret information
That’s ok though. Recruiting ain’t for everybody

Why the hell did this thread get anchored? Come on, man!

That's ok. You're still a moron!

Then stop reading so much into his posts. All Vol does is tell us how the coaches feel. He nor the coaches can read 17 and 18 year old minds.
His info is better than not having any info.
As for missing on everybody, our NSD was centered around a single prospect that was still out there. It was either going to be 100% happy or a 100% sad, no in between.
The Van Pran stuff popped up this morning but Vol didn't say shite about that. He told us that Jackson was gone last week. So it was get burch or don't get burch for us today. All Vol did was say that he was still texting O and hadn't officially told us no.
If you took that as a reason to get your hopes up, thats on you. I'd rather know that he's talking to the coaches still than not know anything.

It’s almost time. I have a good feeling bout this for some reason and that’s usually not the case on signing day. I just feel like it’s going to happen.

Why are you not bringing info to the board?
Posted on 2/5/20 at 11:51 am to LSU_30A
Lol I'm actually the exact opposite now. I'm starting to lean more towards he really loves O and LSU so he doesn't want to have to tell them no directly... We'll see though. This is truly a toss up and I'm not sure anyone has a solid answer in the final minutes.

It seems like the kids with father figures in their lives are the ones who tend to be more respectful with the process. No one should make an announcement without notifying both coaching staffs imo. It’s weird to me that these kids can form these relationships with staffs over years of recruiting and then basically lie to them about who they’re gonna pick. Hell, even a simple text before announcing would be preferable to pretending like you chose on stage

I've learned to remain neutral with my feelings when it comes to recruits. Be happy if they pick us but don't get upset if they don't.

All Vol can do is reflect the feelings of the staff. Of course, because recruiting is such an inexact science and because kids are so damn impulsive, it often doesn't go the way we all hope it to go, but nevertheless, Vol provides an educated guess of how the process should go in accordance with the feelings of the staff. Thus, even if he ends up being wrong, in my book he is still right.
Now maybe you don't care to have access to that kind of information, but forgive me because I do.
