how does Lael Collins, Vadel Alexander, Joe Barksdale, Jerald Hawkins, Trai Turner fit in your Turner Dairies?

Plus Cam Cameron and Greg Robinson. We have some great linemen down here. However, we don't have enough. We have to supplement with oos.

Im not trying to sounds racist
Holy shite. Just imagine how racist you'd sound if you were trying.

Maybe you're right. Maybe we should get more linemen from Yankee land.

Here's a kid who MUST have the "good character" and be "smart enough" to really help LSU.

I mean, gosh, he's white, and he's from Yankee land.

Your the first one to mention any skin color so I would say you should be the first to be accused of being racist!

The other guy that said we need to recruit big farm kids from Wisconsin never mentioned any color skin. Why can't a big farm kid from Wisconsin be black? I have seen some big farm kids all over this country and not all of them are white!! You ever hear of Kendall Beckwith?

Did you ever see Alan Fanaca play at LSU?

Yes. Most dominant college guard I've ever seen. Recent guys that would have to be surpassed by new kids would be Peterman, Herman Johnson, Trai Turner and Vadal Alexander. Turner made a pro bowl. Herman was a man among boys in college.

What's funny - looking back at guys like Lance Smith or Erik Andolsek - not only were they under 300 pounds, they played under 3 bills in the league. Dinardo had that 1 class (I think 1998, the "first" class with Lavalais ) where he signed 10 linemen and they averaged 300 pounds - that was a shocking development just 20 years ago - not that there were 300 pound linemen, even on a college team, but they were all 300 pounds coming out of high school.

I didn't really start following recruiting until Dinardo. (Yeah, I'm lazy and have to use the internet, wanna fight about it?)

Larry Allen says, "REALLY"? Not one mention of the best OT to ever play at LSU, in Andrew Whitworth?

LSU under Miles missed Louisiana kids. We had a super talented kid 2 years ago at Pineville, Cody Ford. LSU wouldn't give him the time of day even though he attended their camps and was waiting for an offer. So, he accepted an offer from Oklahoma and started last year as a true freshman. This year he's projected to be one of the best o-linemen in their conference. So, I'm a little skeptical of Grimes.

The dumb get dumber on tigerdroppings. Position coaches don't directly recruit every players under their area of coaching. They have a say, but the head coach has the final say. Sometime you can't predict character issues. It's how they perform on the field that counts. If you want to say that those who left weren't developed properly then we can talk

A good coach can project a great player and all the traits needed to be a great player later or he should. I know if I'm the OL coach, I would absolutely have major pull on who I'm going to be coaching, and bring in, well because it's my job on the line. I love when people call others dumb then proceed to post dumb. So you saying the DB coach is going to find these players for the OL coach and vise versa?

I bet how it really works is that we have a coordinator who initially finds the player, then the position coach gives the ok along with the HC, then whom ever is in that area, tries to bring him over to meet his position coach. Which tells me that the position coach actually does bring them in at the end of the day.

Are there any specific JUCO offensive linemen that LSU could consider offering?
