Besides Safety, they have to be targeting some Tackles right? Haven't seen much regarding that.

It's time for Tyree Adams and Weston Davis to step up. I think we do get one tackle in the portal.

We are recruiting Braelin Moore C from VA Tech hard right now. According to Shae we are in good shape.

This would allow Chester to move to guard (where he is better suited imo).

I think they will. There might be some growing pains because backfilling Campbell and Jones is not that easy but I expect Adams and Davis to fill in nicely.

The guy from NW is listed as IOL, but I’ve read that he could also play OT.

Him & the USC guy are the two I know of

If you can find some older talent that is a ready to come in and be an SEC starter cool. We need the Center from V tech, then we can bump Chester to guard and Mubenga got some starts and really improved. I remember the coaches talking about really working this back up group had early in the season b/c they knew there was a possibility that 4 of the 5 would be gone.

Thats just part of the game. It doesnt matter if a player is a first year starter in his 2nd year or a first year starter in year 3 or 4... they will have growing pains.

Speaking of Safety looks like the South Florida safety is about to visit. Tawfiq Byard.

I have a feeling they are slow playing O-line in the portal because they want to see how they perform in the bowl game before they shake up the apple cart.

And who is behind them?

Tackle to me seems like a huge need. They have to get at least one vet, and one guy that can play G and T imo

You can’t bet on both of them being top of the line starters out the gate

It would be gross mismanagement not to bring in a tackle or two with starting experience

OL might be the best recruited position group. Just target 1 0r 2 top guys from the portal and let the young recruits develop.

The VT C is one. So maybe one more elite transfer.

They will be in their 3rd and 2nd yr each. And 3 backups will be in their 3rd, and other 2 second year's each. That's 5 ots in the rotation, none are a freshman. Then you have 3 incoming horses who seem to be versatile at tackle or guard. I'd assume some playing time guarantees were made to the 5 star kid, and arky / miss guys look like studs as well.

This. You can't keep replacing our recruits with transfers without giving the recruits a chance at playing time first. Eventually, you have to put them out their to see what you have.

LSU has been recruiting really well the last few years on the OL. At some point the talent we have needs to be developed.
