LSU will not sniff a chance at a championship with this pathetic O line haul.

This will be the final undoing of Orgeron.

Bama has been teaching us that for years. The dline is headed in the right direction but the oline is somehow going backwards.

We have known this for over 20 years. And we still do not prioritize the lines first

You’re not wrong. TAMU has passed LSU in offensive lineman recruiting. But they’re really close to the defensive line as well.

LSU won a national championship without a 5 star oline man on the roster.

With some key pieces returning, our O line will not be as bad as some people think. Especially if we can get Austin and Ed to hang around.

That is all good but you need an elite QB to beat Alabama. You can beat them with an elite QB and good OL, just as LSU did last year.

You guys still just do not get it and obviously never will if this is your answer. Do you want to sustain winning success every year with consistency or not?

Let me know when the next Joe Burrow enters the building.

I really wish LSU would bring back Stacy Searels.

Stats actually show elite passing and coverage wins championships. Check out pff stats. We just signed our 2nd consecutive top 10 OT who is a top 100 player in the country. Plenty of good guards. We can win with that if we get elite qb wr and db play.

How do you think they get those elite stats genius? You can't do much if no holes are open up and your QB is on his back staring at the sky from a stretcher you know that right? How do you think the elite coverage works? They need help from the dline they can't sit in coverage all day.

Trenches are everything on the team. Mediocre QBs/WRs/RBs can look good under a great oline. A great QB, RB, WR can't do much on a horrible oline. A great secondary will look bad if you have 6 seconds to throw every drop back. An average secondary can look great behind an elite dline. Understand now?

Add that Kiffen scorched everybody with a OL that couldnt pull enough stars together to make a Betsy Ross flag...

Georgia showed us this isn't true. PFF taught us that You can't be bad on the oline, but you don't need to be great. You get those great stats with an elite qb wrs, genius. You get Georgia without it. You are living in the past.

That's your problem. You look at stats too much instead of watching the games. Hint: Stats don't tell you the entire story.

It is not regular stats. PFF watches all the games, grades all the players, and analyze all the data. And they tell you that Georgia with a first rounder at every oline spot cant beat lsu with first rounders at qb and wrs and no olinemen worth at 1st or 2nd round pick. Cuz you don't need an elite oline like you did 15 years ago.
