I knew some jackass would say this. Kiel is going to play football. LSU is to football what Harvard is to academics. Not saying LSU is Harvards equal academically. It was an analogy. And yes, hate to break it to you, but LSU is far superior to ULL when it comes to football.

Mason, none taken. You make a valid point. My point is that Kiel has a free ride. I dont think the health of an uncle should play into it....unless Kiel made that decision. If the recruit felt that way, Id understand. However, in this situation it appears to be mom, not Kiel, who is pushing N.D. And Ive heard nothing about any illness.

Ok guys go to the rant and look up Tim Flecter reports. You don't beleive that this negative bs here isn't read by players and recruits. You were warned.I truly believe Kiels mom got wind of this site and visited it alot.Saw all the bashing lately since BCS game and said,OMG I can not send my son that far from home .You see the Kiel family is close and if something should happen to him ,folks couldn't handle it.

ray, if you don't like the site, hit the road. Otherwise, trying to blame this on TD is absurd. Try a new line of thinking.

Maybe she saw the "tea-bag" video. That would've made me concerned if I'd never been down here.

If LSU is the Harvard of football, then ND is Yale. Not much of a drop off. A ND diploma holds a lot more weight than an LSU diploma.

Ray Terese makes a good point but so does Chicken

not saying Ray is correct this time, but to think the families of players don't read this site is ridiculous, whether or not it impacts their kid's decision we'll never really know

not sure if you saw, but John Diarse from Neville mentioned the great Tiger Droppings in a recruiting article about him in the Monroe News Star.

Today is the first day of classes and they've already started.

Where's any news?

EVERY SITE DOES IT, it's opinion, it's a way of life! We will never know why GK switched but it sure seems like GK likes the attention of the flip flopping indecision. Screw him!

Come on man...that's just absurd

On a neutral field LSU would crush ND by 20+ no matter who is playing QB for either team

Sure

But it's not like a degree from LSU is worthless and a general statement like that is sort of silly when in reality the quality college degrees are more major specific.

what in the hell does this mean? If 'something should happen to him'?

He could be a hero here, or a goat, or a non factor. But those scenarios will exist at ND as well. What a horribly nonsensical point.

Also, every school has a message board with fans on it that should be given internet access only under adult supervision. LSU is not unique in that regard.

Has anyone considered that we probably never would have gotten his commitment in the first place if not for Krags/Miles' skill as recruiters?

For months he wasn't even on LSU's radar. Then for months he was a ND lock. Then we got him, because he said LSU felt like a second family.

This looks like a huge tease right now, but hopefully it's just a sign that LSU has become a major force in OOS recruiting.
