There's good players north and south. The south just has more outlets.

there sure is a lot of melting over the Bolden decision....for a kid that most of the board deems "overrated", there seems to be a lot of opinions of him

Come on Hunter... If your boy is as good as advertised around town then he will get the love I guarantee you from all the LSU top brass.

Just because Slade didn't seem to get what he was looking for doesn't mean that Andrew, Hutch, Hunter, Boyer, or Moore won't.

This is getting ridiculous, for real. LSU didn't slight Bolden as JJ even insinuated. Coach O was very involved with his recruitment. If the other members of the staff felt that had better prospects elsewhere so be it. But, as I said before, that doesn't mean that will be same with every West Monroe recruit that is coming up.

I hope that isn't the locker room talking at WM either and only your opinion.

So ridiculous.

I was pulling for LSU, if for no other reason to reassure West Monroe and other Northeast Louisiana athletes that LSU is still a preferred destination. Although I get the opportunity or exposure may be better elsewhere, I hate seeing our top athletes go elsewhere. And Bolden is definitely one of our marquee athletes.

Going to go out on a limb and say Bolden is not going to Alabama. Not because Slade picked some other school either but because Bama has bigger fish than Slade Bolden.

Those areas resemble the areas their closest to which is Dallas and NE texas and lower Arky. Just like SE texas and SW Miss is a lot like S La and N'Awlins.

LSU currently has 5 N. La. Kids committed. 3 from Evangel and 2 from Ferriday. 1 kid from Ferriday chose LSU over Bama.

Regarding the QB from Shreveport choosing TCU, so what? LSU has 2 highly rated, true freshmen QBs on campus now. All you would be doing is creating a QB controversy and a future transfer by one of them.

LSU also loses kids from S. La.
Last season LSU lost a RB to Clemson. It happens.
