Cain has looked good for Penn State recently. Is it likely that he would have come here had Emery not?

No. I work with one of his family members and was told that the way Penn St. used the running back was what sold him to Penn St.

Last year we had pretty much pick who you want of the elite RBs. Cain/Emery/TDP were never going to be in the same class together but all wanted in here (At least at some point).

I believe last year was a case of which 2 committed first. Cain happened to be the odd man out. Glad he is doing well at PSU.

Happy for him. not sure why much more has to be said than that.

Good for him.
Good prospect, but we just didn't have the room. Happy to see him do well outside of the SEC.

No way LSU could have sold 3 RB's in that class.
David Price may be the best out of the three.
You don't need a logjam at RB all in one class
Cain is not seeing the field right now at LSU so he ended up with playing time instead

Yeah, because none of those kids was going to redshirt. Now, knowing Lanard was going to leave mid-season might have changed that analysis a little, but probably not all that much. They all knew they were coming in behind CEH and then it was going to be them. That has turned into an opportunity for Curry, if anything, now.

Maybe. He played games too long, I’d still take John over him any day.

Did he? Or maybe they had TDP and Emery higher on the board and once Emery committed, Cain was never a take. No way we were taking three RB last year.

quote:Your wrong, they made Cain a priority since he was in Denton. He had a commutable offer since his junior year and after the opening they made John a priority but Noah could have gotten in any time until John flipped. Then they completely cooled.
