He was awarded KSLA’s athlete of the week. They talked about how surprised he was to get an LSU offer. Also talked about how his mother passed away after giving birth to him and she was his inspiration. He showed his musical talents. He’s a smart kid and full of personality.

How good of a player is he? Is he underrated? I’ve never watched his highlights or anything, but I’m wondering if the staff thinks he’s a diamond in the rough type of guy.

Yeah in my opinion I think he’s underrated. He doesn’t get a lot of exposure being from a small town. He had a good showing at LSU’s lineman camp. He’s very quick off the ball. He may need a redshirt year to get a little bigger but that will be up to the coaches. He’s in good shape though he’s around 305lbs and has very little fat on his frame.

I think he's underrated. NFL bloodline, very athletic kid for his size, should be a good player for us.
