“Based on talking to him in New Orleans, I was very surprised he broke off his commitment to LSU. Since his freshman year that was the dream school for him. My sense is that LSU remains squarely in the picture as is Florida, Georgia, Alabama and Texas A&M among others.

“Coach Orgeron has already gotten him back on campus after his decommitment and they’re going to push for him through signing day. I still ultimately believe Roy ends up playing his college ball at LSU.”

I think a lot of us knew even after he decomitted he would come back eventually. Joel Williams can walk if he wants too, and I’m sure the staff likes a lot of guys better than him. Stacked class in the secondary.

Being a top national recruit is the one time that a kid like JR can get fame and lots of great trips and be in the spotlight. he should take advantage of this once in a lifetime experience. I have the feeling that he stays home after all of the fan fare and will be a Tiger. He can come in and play immediately here and be a hometown hero forever.
