I wanted this kid on this team about the same as I wanted Fournette, tbh. He's a flat out top tier passer and loves LSU.

Dammit O. If we don't get Tua, this is all one big clusterfrick. I get that it's O's program now and he's going craft it as he sees fit and Brennan may not fit in. But damn it's a bad look. Dude has been all LSU for a while. Stuck with us theough the firing of the coaches who recruited him, reaffirmed his commitment when we hired the joke. Clearly he wants to play for LSU and O is immediately shafting him out of the picture.

Hmm, so we choose a HC not because of his resume or skill set but because he wants to coach at LSU, but turn down a kid who wants to play for LSU because he is not dual threat.

Tua is an early enrollee at Bama, Kiffin is under contract until February.

We lose our best qb prospect in years for a long shot at best. A very long shot.. Now we have an athlete with two major knee injuries and lose a kid who was probably the best qb on the camp circuit behind the Hawaii kid. We aren't flipping an early enrollee two weeks out from reporting to bama. So first O hires a 80 yr old permanently who no one will make me believe can get on the road and recruit because he's a buddy / mentor... And follows that up with losing the best qb prospect at Lsu since RP!! Maybe it's too soon to give up hope but his is fkin disheartening to say the least

I'm afraid that it is gonna take a few years for reality to set in across the fanbase. They are not gonna see little things like this as immediate red flags.
