This could be a positive. He is going to be gone from his family for an extended period of time for the first time. Not like camp or Nike Opening we are talking for months. I think Drake going to IMG made him understand how much he missed being home.

I'm not getting worked up over ANY single recruit anymore. That ended with "5 for 5."
That didn't work out too badly for us. If He ends up here, I'll be ecstatic and if He doesn't, best of luck to the kid.

It's the recruiting class as a whole that you have to concern yourself with and We have arguably the best collective recruiting staff in the nation. We'll be fine.

I hate IMG Academy like I hate select/travel baseball (which my son plays). Takes all the pride out of kicking the shite out of a team from a rival town. Parents who allow this are as much to blame for this modern day bull shite as the money behind the curtain.

I'm guilty on a certain level but it's hard to not follow suit when the option presents itself. Hope he gains perspective and comes home to kick arse in Tiger Stadium.

I think he is going because he can. He also gets to get out of Louisiana and away from home for awhile and enjoy his senior year. This is good for LSU because he gets a chance to go play in a different state and he will have the opportunity to watch as LSU's Offense, Defense, and Special Teams have a great year, including an SEC Championship and a National Championship. I truly believe that we get over the Alabama hump this year. I think LSU will beat bama in Death Valley by at least 14 points. But, the main thing is, LSU coaching staff, players, and fans will shake off the "Lets JUST beat Alabama" mentality and I think this year will be the "Alabama is JUST another obstacle" mentality, Tough like all other SEC opponents. All LSU Fans, Players, and Coaches need to drop the hatred, because hate blinds you, but we do need to stay Angry and Fearful, because Fear makes you play smart and Anger fuels the tank so that you play with confidence and heart to overcome the Fear.

I think Les is always too focused on certain teams that he feels LSU must beat thereby causing issues during the season leading up to big games like Alabama. Les puts too much emphasis on the Alabama game year round as if it's our Superbowl. We focus on Alabama when it's their time to go down.

So Moses, after watching LSU dominate College Football and going undefeated in the 2016-2017 Regular season, SEC game, Round 1 of the playoffs, and winning the National Championship game, and being away from home, will come home and play for LSU. Of course, he will want his 15 minutes of fame by announcing his commitment on Live TV during the UA game or something like that.

We will have him home in a LSU uniform...

I hear what you're saying but I don't begrudge any kid going to IMG. That place is amazing. It's more like a college than a high school and in fact it's probably better than most universities. I hate to say it but it's probably the wave of the future.

Good. Will be less of a "defeat" perception wise when he goes to Alabama

What's the value of IMG to a kid who was already at a very good school and had all the exposure he could ever want?

Everybody wants him at LSU but it sounds like he has moved on. LSU will still recruit him hard but there is no need to get upset if he does not come to LSU.

Saw a kid from GA that just signed back with GA after going IMG. He said the year there made him realize how important home was and he missed it. Hope happens here too.

Smart kid going from one of the better academic situations to a sports factory. Not a good move IYAM. His recruiting stock can't get higher, and he's missing out on finishing up a good high school education. Unless he just wants to get out of town, which doesn't bode well for the home team.

He ought to at least consider that if he goes to Bama, he will likely face a coaching transition before his eligiblity is up.

IMG has a lot more exposure that UHIGH. Take a look at the schedule for this past year, it was insane. They played all over the nation against national powerhouse programs. Unfortunately, UHIGH doesn't have that opportunity. I find it interesting that UHIGH played IMG this well.

Yeah, DM is really lacking exposure. Maybe college coaches will know who he is after IMG

Haha I'm not saying he should go. Your right everyone already knows who he is. Something happened there, I'm not sure what though. He may just be fustrating with coaching or thinks he can improve more....or maybe they gave him a $50,000 - $70,000 scolly. I'm just guessing though.
