I agree completely and I'm sorry if I took it too far. It just annoys me when people share info that they pay for to try and be helpful and clear things up for people that obviously like following recruiting as close as me, and those people refuse to listen.

this whole board is regurgitated recruiting info from pay sites that people try to pass on as their own

What happened in the first 6 pages? I didn't read it all... FWIW, we were not in on any big time national recruits at CB. This commit does not effect any other positions.
Just relax, no video is available yet but both Sonny and Mike have said he is legit. I'll take their word on it for now.

With all the big names we are waiting for most people including myself are a little baffled when 2 recruits sign we know nothing about..I just want to know more about Claiborne from people here that know about him. I'm not "in the know". Thats why i come here, to hear from people that are. Sounds like a good kid with a good future at LSU. CM loves LSU and thats why many here are wanting him including myself..Its hard to see talent passed on when they want to play here really bad. Thx for the info on MC..I hope he helps LSU win its next MNC.

Let's put it this way, I get the PERTINENT info on here. Like I said, I've had subscriptions before. After coming to this board I quickly found they were mostly useless.

It's not all of a sudden a position of need.
The fact that they continued recruiting multiple guys at corner tells you they knew they wanted another corner in this class the whole time.
Claiborne might be the only actual corner in this class if JJ is brought in as a safety or nickel.

Sounds good. Also, Hicks appears to be a beast that will step in and play early and often like Byrd. Just don't just to conclusions on MC because of the number of stars. Sonny has been pimping him since camp as a real possibility

This doesn't make any sense. Why is this different than the CM situation? We're still recruiting TR, but if we don't get him we're not going to sign CM according to the "insiders"
We were recruiting some top CBs, had not offered this kid. Looks like the coaches found out we're not getting any and now we offered him? Why wouldn't we offer Christine Michael if we don't get TR? I don't see why CB (with Janzen coming in - who looks like a corner to me) is a position of "need" any more-so than RB.
