What ever happened to Gabriel Bryant? Wasn't he an LSU commitment once upon a time as well?

Don't believe that Born. Max's family runs shite up the river. Dude has never worked an honest day in his life. He makes BilJ's bbq empire upbringing look lowly.

Bryant had some off the field issues and ended up at La Tech.

That was the era before RAT did their project. We didn't know who to offer before then

any specifics as to why? not hating or professing to know how to break down any sort of film on a running back but his film is pretty impressive. what are you seeing that says his skills won't translate? Steve was at the LSU camp and said he was blown away by Ware's footwork.

It isn't one thing specifically that makes me doubt him.

I just have a few concerns:
1) How does he handle his weight? If he is truly already 220, then what happens when he hits the college weight room/college life.
2) His film looks great because he is breaking arm tackles (and throwing around) small, white boys. I want to find out what classification he is in--ETA: evidently the highest from a previous post, but looking at the guys in his highlights, consider me unimpressed by the athletes on the defensive side of the ball.
3) Most of his runs are on QB draws where there are massive holes for him to run through. He is good in space (good, very solid, not great...) but how does he hit a hole when taking the ball straight from a QB and the defense is aligned to close gaps? Does he hit the hole hard? Does he have the vision--he looks to have good vision in the open field, but does that translate between the tackles?
4) Do his lateral moves work at the next level? He does have some 'shake' to him, but it is more of a quickness that he is able to beat defenders with than him juking guys out of their shoes.

Positives:
1) Good size and very athletic. 37in vertical is impressive no matter who it comes from.
2) Great quickness, especially for his size.
3) Toughness--is willing to take some shots.
4) Cut-back (kind of goes with quickness)
5) Good speed for a guy his size.

we did it twice last year with Ferrell and the guard from Florida and to that cornerback commit 2-3 years ago that ran a 4.8 at camp.

Can someone provide some documentation for this? And who was the CB referred to?

It's crystal clear that there's a method to appreciating how great Livingston Parish is.

From what I saw Ware can stop and go with the best of them. He's got very quick feet and comes out of his cuts decisively.

From what I saw his vision in traffic was also very good.

Orelus was the guard from last year. He showed up out of shape at a camp and LSU went its separate way.

Ferrell evidently was a little too stiff for the coaches liking and LSU parted ways there as well.

I don't remember the CB...

Christine Michael would be another case of the coaches "offering" an uncommittable.

His cutting ability/quickness appears to be his best quality IMO.

I wish there was more than just one clip of him running out of the RB position.

It's just the way recruiting is now.

exactly,
it's brutal and not for the faint of heart. winning football games requires the best talent and you recruit to win. the competition is severe. welcome to life in major college football.
