WBKO in Bowling Green reporting that's he's "expected to return": LINK

He has until 4pm on Monday to change his mind several more times. At that time, he's either in or out at WKU.

Probably the best thing for him to do at this point.

Go there your one year, get the opportunity to show your stuff to the scouts, and jump to the NBA after that.

He can at least play and help his draft status.

It'll be interesting to see how is attitude is there, knowing that he tried to leave but had no great options and had to go back. Hopefully for WKU fans he doesn't just phone in a half-assed, one year career. Let's hope he gives them a full-assed, one year career.

It sure would've been nice to have that big fella in Baton Rouge though.

Wonder if he'll still be "suspended"

Stansbury is a clown regardless of how this plays out.

Well with how adamant Basil was about knowing that Robinson was going overseas I figured he was already over there playing. That's odd

Not that easy for an 18 year old to move countries for a year. It's a quicker way to get money but without a doubt a difficult transition. That's why you don't see multiple top prospects go that route every year

He didn't. But believe it or not, NBA teams look for other character traits when considering whether to invest tens of millions of dollars in a 19-year-old.

The reason you don't see multiple top prospects do it every year is because (a) it's easier to get scouted in America, and (b) despite what many think, most Euroleague and CBA teams simply don't care to spend very limited resources on a raw, often entitled, yet-to-be-famous 18-year-old for one year who is unlikely to increase revenue or team performance, or even log meaningful minutes.

admittedly coasting through the season didn't really hurt Ben Simmons

His team sucking didn't hurt Markelle Fultz

If you think moving across the world doesn't play a factor then you are crazy. Didn't Mudiay get a 1m deal from ua while playing overseas? Plus ended up a very high pick. Financially it makes a ton of sense, it's still hard for a kid to do. Hell, its hard for some of them to adjust to living away from home at a college.

what I heard is that Mitch's mom is going to live in the Bowling Green area this year, and when he enters the pros, she'll probably live near him there too

Tons of parents follow their kids around when they move. Ben Simmons parents moved to Florida and then BR. Christian Lacouture's whole family moved to Baton Rouge too I believe. Not that uncommon.
