This young man is going to be a beast. For his size he has athleticism and he brings the lumber. Looking forward to him being a tiger. Would hate to play against him.

Imo an under rated player. Congrats to Les for getting this guy.

Do you know how they handled Rashard Robinson? I don't. I DO know supposedly what they told Adam Taylor and they had 2 easy outs on that one. 1) he had a severe injury the year before and at RB in particular you can always say as they supposedly did essentially, "you need to come to camp so we can evaluate your recovery because at most we are taking 1 RB" and 2) LSU isn't throwing out scholarship offers at RB like they were at WR, DL, even TE. To my knowledge, LSU only offered 2 or 3 RBs, so it isn't like they to have to weight Taylor's decision against anyone elses. There basically was no one else...maybe 1 or 2 others tops.

But the Robinson situation is very similar to the Neal situation since LSU is still supposedly recruiting several secondary guys. IF Robinson was ready to commit as you insinuated, how was THAT one handled?

If Robinson wants to commit LSU will take him immediately. He is a must get imo. I personally dont think we land priest as much is i hate to say that. Rashard and Rickey will be great p-up's.
Both will be tigers and both have alot of potential to be great corners.

A lot of players do that to be fair, but having said that, I don't have a great feeling about Jefferson. I was NOT a Jordan Jefferson basher and thought the bar incident was way overblown byt the BRPD and the DA office as to even an attempt at prosecution, but what incredibly bad judgment for a guy who had been around the program for years and was supposedly a leader. I do NOT blame the younger Jefferson for idiotic actions by his older brother but J Jefferson seemed to think he had a regal right to the QB job. He also took little of the blame in the NC game when clearly a good part of it was his fault. Just hope that Ricky Jefferson if he signs with LSU has a better attitude and character/leadership than his brother had. The last year at LSU, Jefferson showed very, very little of either.

they say Rickey is a stand up kid with a great attitude. Bama wants him to earn an offer at camp. hes choosing to come to lsu's. that tells me he wants to be a tiger. i believe ND has offered right?

Pretty much my feeling. From a physical standpoint, the sky is the limit with Robinson. The little bit of film on him is insane. He isn't great in the jam, but he flat-out outruns receivers back to the ball. He could be scary good with a little bit of fundamental improvement. I like Jefferson as a prospect as well.

I thought he lost all his hype after Boutte ate him at the rivals challenge.
