Had lunch with his Pops today and he said Dom wasn’t gonna take official to Tenn as reported and he was enroute to Under Armor All American game for weekend thru game on 3rd. So good news that LSU official is still scheduled for weekend of 12th

Our fans think he is overrated a small bit, mostly because he has seemed to take games off at times, and they still want him.

Everyone would take him.. we would rather take him and find out if he’s a bust playing for us than to go somewhere else and possibly reach his potential.

Not losing any sleep if he has his heart going out of state isn’t the same thing as not wanting him. He has to potential to be a good college DLineman. After watching him play this year he is far from a sure thing, and if you say otherwise then you show how little you’ve actually watched him.

If it's about him taking plays off, or needing to get better at leverage, etc, all of that is coachable.
I know personally I was about 500% better with regards to grit and discipline as a college sophomore than I was at 16-17.

Watching his HIGHlight video again (JR season), I would still rate him the same as always. I would not have him a 5* (in my own top 50) but would rate him a high 4* (somewhere between 51 and 150 nationally). I can't speak to whether he takes off plays or not. Anyway, he is an obvious take. Having said that, if LSU had one open scholarship and it came down to Reliford or McKinley, I'm taking Reliford who I HAVE put in my top 50/5 *. BTW, for the 247 composite star gazers I assume you have noticed he (#31) is only 2 notches ahead of the highest 4* rated player (#33)

Saying he MAY not be as good as his rating does not mean a single fan doesn’t want him. That’s an idiot leap in logic.

McKinley is a must ! It is about his potential ! 6’7” 275 lbs and the young man has very good speed for his size. He is a must get that will develop!

LSU fans want him because of his potential, but if he goes elsewhere they don't feel like it'll be a huge miss. I get that sentiment, but I'd rather have him than not, but let's be real here, the transfer portal changes everything here.

Please. The concern is that you will have to commit a decent NIL amount to him and he’s not likely to be a major contributor in year one. But we need interior DL and he’s a LA kid, so he’s absolutely a take if we can get him.
