You “coaches” never learn your lesson. You’d think after the Quad fiasco coaches would stay away from this board. If this is the hill you want to die on, go for it.

What were the bids?

Of course they did. Paying players isn't some new concept.

Yes it is. 750K to 1.5 Million is definitely new.

Are you living in a cave. Nobody outbid A&M. They spent like 30 million a couple of recruiting cycles ago. A&M put in a large bid. These recruits are getting north of a half million. You really think it’s not money. We used to joke about Bama giving players dodge chargers. This blows that away and it’s totally legal. I think Kelly has decided not to break the bank on an unproven HS player.

I actually really like how BK is handling NIL. The guys that prove themselves in the program over time are getting very well taken care of. Some of these high ranked kids only see what’s in front of them.

He got rag-dolled and pancaked by a guy a fraction of his size.

So he didn’t get any NIL deal? “Zero” means they didn’t discuss money at all. Can’t take you serious on that.

Recently saw a list of top NIL college athletes (all sports and including veterans). Colin Simmons was on that list at over 500,000. He was in the ballpark with Perkins, Malik, Daniels, Campbell. Don’t fool yourself, the Texas schools are throwing big money at these guys.

ABSOLUTELY HIT THIS NAIL ON THE HEAD PROPHET!!!!!!!

Kelly has only really opened up the coffers for a few people and I will share one that’s pretty common knowledge………..

Figure it out?? Harold Perkins was it. BK wanted this cat and he does appear to have some talent. Can’t wait to see him tomorrow night.

Hopefully you aren't a coach at Acadiana. If so you should worry more about stopping J. Johnson than defending your players on the internet

You might be shocked to know I gave zero fricks what some internet hack comedian thinks. Thanks for the advice though.

I should've known better than to venture over here a few months ago - need to restrict myself to the OT.

Bout to get get absolutely wrecked in the championship game if you are an actual coach on staff posting shite on here months later. If that’s where your pea brain is at right now when you have a championship to worry about, that staff must be full of clowns.

I have never seen this guy play, so I have no idea about his ability.

I thunk it is very unusual for a guy his size to become a great college player if they were not dominating in high school. Players that are not aggressive and seek dominating contact are simply not football players. Those qualities are required for big time DL play.
