am a bit anxious waiting on the Victorius Miller signing announcement. Technically there should be one for Cam and Jordan Sears as well.
Are you anxious just from the fact that he opted out of his nil deal with Oregon?
He is a huge part of this class imo. He has a chance to be a very good scorer at lsu.

We appear to be in a market for a 7 foot 230 pound center out of New Orleans next year, then have some legacy kids coming up the year after.

ETA:
The possible legacies would be RJ Livingston out of New Orleans and Brandon Bass Jr, both in 2026 (18 months away to sign)

37 nationally. I’m guessing he’s the highest ranked hoops prospect out of Louisiana in the last several years.
McMahon needs to land him.

Toby Okani
CMM seemed high on Okani but the minutes he would have gotten would probably better serve the younger players.

Not worried in the slightest about him not committing here. I think we have lots of other guys that would play his position that deserve more minutes. I think we're better off getting a center if we do get another player in the portal.

Need to catch Jonas Aidoo and Tyrin Lawrence; Meechie Johnson from USCe would be a coup

quote:Aidoo would be ok, but the other 2 a 6'2" and 6'3" shooting guards. Don't see what they add. We need more height at this time.

Meechie Johnson already committed to Ohio State

If lsu isn’t going to grab a true center, they’re not gonna have enough speed at wing and press defenses to force better teams into turnovers. Still think ward\reed\fountain\miller will battle for time at wing\corner, but wright ate up numerous stats and time. CMM has to be fighting for another big man.

Seems like we are after post or wing and will take whichever will commit first

How bout Jonas Gray? Has he committed already?
Posted on 4/27/24 at 4:34 pm to tarzana
Not familiar with who you’re talking about. If you meant Jonas Aidoo, i’ve heard it’s a battle between Bama, UNC, Arkansas, and Baylor.
