Trilly says it’s completely open right now. No clear favorites for Howard. I believe Creighton is the only one to get a visit thus far but that was before the final list came out.

I’ll try to ask around but I think unless the ncaa approves of the house settlement and the whole 5 year eligibility deal then he probably won’t get one
Edit: Also Kennard Davis just committed to BYU. His dad got the bag he was looking for

We need to sign 3 more, a PG, a 2-guard and a wing. It could be a real struggle to get all 3 with any quality. Those remaining in the portal will ask for top dollar, something we may not have.

We started off hot and holy shite did we hit a wall. The well has dried up and looking around it is going to be bottom 3rd at best. 2 weeks ago I thought we’d still get 1 or 2 more pieces that could help us. We haven’t added anyone, and whether you hate Givens or not it didn’t help losing him. Now anyone we get seems to be a scrub and not really contribute.
I have switched sides. Room on the Coaching Search bus?

We have 3 spots left. We need a backup pg, not anything special. After that it would be nice to pick up a stud like Harper or Stojo. The last guy doesn't have to be anything special, maybe even a project.
So really just one more "piece".

Agree. We need a solid #2 option. I really want Harper

I only count 10 scholarship players right now.
Dedan Thomas Jr
Jalen Reed
Robert Miller III
Rashad King
Michael Nwoko
Marquel Sutton
Max Mackinnon
and the 3 FR.
Who are your starters?
Locks
Thomas Jr
Reed
Potential
Miller
Nwoko
Stretches for the SEC
King
Sutton
Mackinnon
The 3 FR
I think CMM needs two more starters, but I don't think he has the NIL funds.

I think Sutton and King are going to be pleasant surprises. They have that raw athletic trajectory. But we needed them to produce double digit points. That is iffy
Reed
Miller
King
Thomas
Mackinnon should not be a starter but right now seems he would be. But sutton might be able to play some SF. But it would require McMahon to be creative and have dudes learn multiple spots

Totally flamed out. They need more.
Last week a couple on here were shitting on us for pointing this out.

Because at the time there was hope. Y’all were shitting just to shite. Now it looks like none of it will happen so this is when you get negative. Some of you are negative 24/7 instead of just waiting for it to happen.

It was easy to see it wasn't going to happen.

Looks like the defense will suck horribly but they will run, then stop at the 3 pt line and shoot. Then they will shoot more.

Appreciate the response, damn I really hope this team can at least slide into the dance. I’m fricking parched

Since excuse was lack of NIL and signing trajectory seemed positive till it stopped, would love Woodward to put his money where his mouth is and pony up some more cash. Pretty excited for some of the transfers but feels like we need a Harper or another solid scorer. We yammered about lack of cash in NIL and fixing the problem and we find ourselves in pretty similar situation as last few seasons at this juncture with main difference being LSU AD stating they were going to now have good NIL. With McMahon’s poor history coaching during the season, not sure we can get it done currently, but certainly hope I’m wrong. McMahon needs a consensus top roster so we know going forward that’s what’s needed to win or if he can’t get it done with known top tier talent we easily move on after this season. Make your decision easy Woodward by throwing some more money now instead of slowly bleeding out over time.

Alt is going to have an aneurysm when he sees this part.

There’s been reports that’s we could go overseas for a young euro pro player for one of these last roster spots also. Brune reported a little about that last week. It wouldn’t surprise me with the connections to Europe on the staff.

I would like that. More and more teams are doing this.
Most of those guys are loyal and hard working.

No, I think some of us were/are realistic.
