He would have to be far better then Brennan to start over him. Also starting a freshman would probably hurt our chances with Caleb Williams or Nussmeier. If Brennan aint the guy in the spring they may bring in a transfer in the summer.

Not implying he’ll start. Just he gives me a lot of hope post-Brennan. I think Brennan will do fine in the unenviable position of following Joe.

I think Parrish is the guy after Brennan. Kid has kept his head down and worked hard all year. Looking forward to seeing him get some spot work next season. I also think the coaching staff is enamored with TJ's potential ahead of Max.
We'll see what happens. The transfer portal has completely changed the game for QB roster management, so likely one of Parrish, Finley, or Johnson will ultimately transfer out, especially if we land Williams in the next cycle. I just hope fans pull for whoever starts and cheer on the Tigers. Nothing splits up fanbases like coaching changes and QB depth charts.

With today's transfer portal 75% of qb who do not see the field in the first 2 years transfer, so more than likely only Johnson remains at LSU. People can wish for Williams all they want, but Johnson is the qb of the future for this program.
