There was never any doubt. And this guy will play baseball for LSU too. He isn’t a round 1 pick unless some team takes a flier.

Was it ever much of a question with him? For football and baseball, it's hard to top LSU. The concern would still be the MLB draft with him. I doubt it's over by any means with him.

Awesome. If he doesn't go Pro, he'll be really fun to watch in both sports.

LSUsports.net lists Hampton as a S rather than CB, interesting.

LSU and the MLB. That isn't over. I think the only question was whether or not LSU would reserve a spot for him and risk losing the scholarship if he goes to the MLB.
