You don’t mean the Danny Lewis who was a mid 3*, DL who clowned LSU, who signed w/ Bama to sit on the pine, the TE Saban got just to keep La connections open, the one who only had 1 offer from power 5 Cinncy so he jumped at it, the one we would’ve melted over if we’d offered back in 2020, the one we melted over Wednesday, Damn Skippy M Taylor is better than him, and will play for LSU early while Lewis’s rots on the bench in Tuscaloosa and hits the portal by 2024. Mason Taylor was ranked higher and IS better than that same Danny Lewis you speak of my friend.

Damn he is faster than I thought. He only needs about 15lbs on him and he'll be a force in a couple years.

I also don’t understand how Jameson Williams fits into this. He got hurt early on in the title game.he certainly wasn’t a detriment to the team in any way. Dude is a great player.

Correct but I never melted over Danny Lewis and I think it’s hilarious that Bama and Saban are so paranoid about LSU that they prioritized a TE who LSU offered only after Jake Johnson decommitted. Saban coming in and taking 3 receivers and a 3 star TE is kinda out there. Some of these kids are not going to play and transfer out as soon as they realize it. I would not have minded one of the Louisiana receivers but no way with LSU’s needs at so many positions should LSU have taken 3 WR.
Oh and yes Mason Taylor is a good one and glad we got him.

We need more than 1 tight end man.
They basically have mashburn as a blocker at tight end and that's it.
