Can’t say I’m surprised. He is a good player, but just wasn’t quite consistent enough at Center to knock Turner out. Seems like the writing is on the wall for Chester to pass him there. He’s really more of a Guard, but there’s just a lot of talent and competition at that spot here.

Still sucks to lose quality depth inside though. He can definitely start somewhere that has an opening at Guard. Good luck to him. Hard to be mad at anyone who stays for three years and doesn’t complain, but wants a shot to start somewhere.

I’m very excited about Chester. I think he’s gonna bring more pop to the position to handle the sec linemen more effectively.

This sucks, always will. But there’s a bright side here. There’s a lot of offensive line studs in the Transfer Portal. And even better, we’re linked in one way or another to a good bit of them. My point is, IF we’re gonna lose at any position, the offensive line is where you’d most likely submit losses at.

MM is a Tiger through and through. I'll miss that guy but understand his decision.
