Any chance we get this kid on campus? He just finished off a second state championship throwing 95 from the left side with a .520 batting average. I’m pretty sure I’ll take that over the kid from Gonzaga

It’s not a binary choice. This is dumb.

Your mistake was your last sentence
You could have asked the question instead of adding a shot to the Gonzaga pitcher

So I’ll say it again - do we have any chance this kid makes it to campus? Sorry yall are hung up on the Gonzaga comment - I just prefer the traditional recruitment and watching him last night made me excited for the opportunity. Don’t know his draft prospects figured yall would. Instead yall just throw mud

Also every spot in the rotation is binary. In my opinion I’d give this kid one which moves the Gonzaga kid out - we could use both I’ll agree. I’m just ranking them. Kinda like you’ve done with our rotation for next year.

So it’s a non-binary choice? How progressive of you.

Nawrocki isn’t pitching in the rotation next year, even if he makes it to campus. So that would make this a moot point.
And if we’re “ranking” them then Nawrocki is not ahead of Hood as far as rotation potential next season.
This entire comparison or competition is extremely stupid.

It’s not stupid - it’s comparing a recruit to a transfer. They’re a year apart. Again, I’d love to dive into that after an actual answer of where’s this kid getting drafted and do we have a chance he comes to make it a competition. I’ve done the google and I won’t claim to be the greatest at it but I can’t find where he’s rated. Hence I’m asking the resident experts

Also if you’re telling me a kid throwing 95 from the left side consistently in the zone isn’t competition you didn’t watch much of this season where none of them could do it

What does that have to do with the portal?
Posted on 6/6/26 at 1:31 pm to jlbasm
The portal is part of the game now. Deal with it.

Guys - I’m not anti portal… I’m simply asking if a recruit will make it to campus

Why did you disparage Landon Hood? He's a big pickup.

Don't editorialize after the question if you simply want an answer.
I think the answer is probably that it depends on whether a specific team falls in love with him. He's projected out of the top 100, from what I see, so I think the odds are at least even, probably better.

If tweet fails to load, click here. I think latest the rumor has been that he’s going to sign no matter where he’s drafted. Sucks, I’d love to see him in P&G
