Mulkey's health problems affected recruiting.
We will bring in a PG from the portal, but Jada Richards will see a lot of PT next year. She has the quickness at PG that we need. We have missed Alexis Morris this year.

Jada will be a good player eventually but truthfully she is 2-3 years away from getting significant minutes. We had far better recruits ride the bench this year and not look ready

I think she’ll play a lot next year
Just my opinion

What's her game like? 6'5'' wing is very different. She isn't a 3 pt shooter so I could see how she wouldn't work in Neighbors offense.

Would be good depth if nothing else.

We could run a set for her. She’s better than her stats.

It's a lot of perimeter stuff but her shooting numbers at Arky have been bad. She doesn't seem like a post player either. She might need the ball in her hands to be maximized but that probably ain't gonna happen.

I mean if Kim brings her in she is not playing outside 100%. Kim is not having 6'5 play outside, she will be inside a good chunk of the time if she comes in, probably a stretch forward. And its hard to judge her numbers at Arkansas, Neighbors did not utilize her well and the team sucked.
And worse case she is a depth piece. Our bench is already atrocious, we need bench talent and production

You land the two Arkansas transfers and we are really cooking. More will come

Thanks 357. Did she come on her own or did Kim bring her in for the game? Didn't Redus host a HS recruit this weekend?

I'd think LSU hosted her officially.
LSU hosted Bella Hines (#31 recruit), guard from New Mexico this weekend for her official visit.

sunny, why hasn't this chick gotten numbers in two previous seasons at ARK?
and why didnt she play this season?

I have no clue. Her numbers were decent as a freshman but seemed to fall out of rotation the following year then left the team before the season started this year
If I had to guess I would say probably an attitude thing.
We’ve seen Kim thrive with these types of transfers though (Williams, Carson, etc.)
Change of scenery might be good for her

Don't think so.
quote:
"I know when there's no information out, everybody thinks negative things," Neighbors said. "Jersey is good. It was very amicable. She's going to be a great player for somebody someplace. It just didn't work out here."
Her playing time decreased from freshman to sophomore year. Probably found out her role wasn't changing before the season so she left.
