I seriously doubt that kid will go to Texas Tech. The prominent programs recruiting her will figure it out. Either she'll get the payday she / they want, or they'll take less to be with a championship caliber coach and program.

Great article on Flau’jae. She says “I am going to choose to go to the WNBA. I don’t know how soon… just depending on how, you know, how my season goes and things like that”

I really hope not, it’s exceedingly rare for anyone to actually leave after their junior year in college WBB, even the top 5 picks.

But I have a feeling her mom is pushing her to leave. She left some pretty startling comments on IG recently about not being happy because Kim doesn’t let Flau’jae do enough shows during basketball season…

Her mom is messy though…

Grace Mbugua (6’5 F)

Ayla McDowell (6’2 W- 5 star top 20 recruit)

McDowell has one more visit before deciding. TCU speculated to be a favorite for her previously. Grace likely isn’t announcing until November with her visit schedule as of now

McDowell would be a REALLY nice addition to this program.

Good info Tigerbait357. Only thing I’ll add is the softball pitcher getting paid that type of money is different because she’s the best pitcher in college softball. Chavez has never played in college to prove herself yet. This is what’s wrong with NIL right now

So is Flaujae graduating next May 2025? I thought to get in the WNBA, you are required to graduate with degree and be 22yo? Didn't know Flaujae is graduating early in May as a junior? If not, she has to wait to 2026. Exception is international players who can play in WNBA under the age of 22, which really isn't fair to US colleges players.

I’m not surprised LSU is backing out when she is asking for 1.35 million dollars

Take that cash and get it to those other five star recruits. And sign a total of four five star recruits this class. That’s way better than just getting that one player

Said all along I didn’t like the Fit if LSU lands the rest of their board. When I saw that number I knew there was no way in Hell Mulkey was going for that. Texas will be a force no doubt. LSU just needs to close strong here and they will be more than fine.

On a basketball topic. Jada Richard, LSUs lone freshman really showed out during open practice on Monday with her defense, ball handling and accurate shooting. Player like One of the best players out there. Could be a major surprise for LSU this year.

I don't think she'll be a surprise. Everyone knows she's good. As Kim said, the only reason she wasn't ranked in the national rankings is that she didn't participate in all that summer AAU basketball. If not for that, she'd have been at least a four star recruit.

How about that? Potential diamond in the rough! She didn’t look timid at all. Which is the complete opposite of how Angelica Velez looked a year ago. We may have our PG of the future already on campus. Can’t wait for the games to start to see how she responds under the lights. LSU vs Texas in the PMAC will be epic. Chavez is a big time sh*t talker! Let’s Geaux

Kate Harping has moved up to number two nationally for class of 26. I know she visited not long ago.

Kateri Poole went on TikTok live earlier & said Mulkey kicked her off the team for sending in a scouting report to an opposing team. This was rumored to be the case a few months back but it never gained traction. She denied the allegations. Apparently the staff had substantial evidence. This never went public and she transferred out. Mulkey comes from the era of “what happens in this house stays in this house”.

Listening to the Flau’jae podcast (with MK12) they spoke very highly of Jada as did Mulkey in her press conference last week.

Maybe the reason why we didn’t feel the need to spend $1+ mil on Chavez when you already of the PG of the future on campus.

They can make a 30 for 30 on that national championship team. Between the players and moms there was some wild shite going on with that team and they still put it all together

To Think LSU almost made the Final Four with all the craziness going on is insane. They call themselves “The Show”…& that’s exactly what it was apparently lol. Testament to KM ability to make sure everyone understands it’s about the TEAM.

My mistake. The last time I'd checked those rankings, earlier this year, she wasn't on there. She definitely deserves it and SHOULD be ranked higher.
