Fulwiley is Gilbert on steroids. I don’t think you play both and Fulwiley isn’t starting, so I’d think that has something to do with Gilbert’s absence too. Probably best to just take a redshirt

That would be huge to replace Joyner. Great timing. She proved herself without having to do it in the shadow of Shaq's legacyas a young freshman and sophomore. Now she is mature and can handle it without the constant distraction. Shaq becomes an even bigger supporter of LSU, possibly helping the NIL necessary to assure all of the important players return to play with his young one.

Regarding next year's roster and lineup, do you think Zakiyah Johnson will play the 3 if we get some more 4s? She can move well and handle the ball and shoot. Would love to see her as a wing.

Hopefully they can land at least one 4 from the portal for a couple of reasons , one of them being able to have Johnson play the 3.

Most definitely. I think that's the best use of her talent.

I think there's no doubt that they want to move Zakiyah to the 3 to be Mikaylah's primary backup, and I also believe they're going to go heavy in the portal for two power forwards and / or a center.

I doubt Zakiyah intends to be anyone's backup. She and Knox intend to start.

That may be the case, but Zakiyah will NOT be starting. You can bank on that.

The guards/wings will be Richard, fulwiley, and m. Williams imo but Hines and z. Johnson will play

I think Knox starts at the 4 next year. She’ll be much improved and is an actual 4. Just needs to continue to put on muscle.
The issue for Z is she is a wing and it’s very likely Jada/Fulwiley/MK start next year unless Kim feels like Fulwiley operates better coming off the bench regardless of how many minutes she plays
Either way Zakiyah should gets lots of minutes in addition to Bella
The focus this offseason has to be going all in on beefing up the interior. Need 2-3 bigs
LSU finally has its point guard for the future in Jada and she is outstanding only as a sophomore

I like to see Koval become more aggressive, I think she has some good quality’s to her game , definitely need to add another big or two .

Is LSU still a strong contender for Sara Okeke, or no more? What other 2026 bigs are possible?
Don't you think they need another point guard and shooting guard for future depth?

LSU is the heavy favorite to land Caroline Bradley and we could see a commitment by this summer
