It is going to be very interesting to see how all this shakes out. There are going to be a few very good players wanting in who will get passed on.

How many early enrollees, if any, can we roll back to last year's class?
Commits from 23 right now. Going to be a nice Christmas 2019.

Greene Will be on academic scholarship. Not an athletic scholarship. Huge news if true.

Can’t count any back to last year. 25 is the hard limit.

As much as I hope your info about greene is right, that can't possibly be legal can it?

Sure it can be. He can be admitted academically to any university he wants to.

It’s a smart move for LSU to give him an academic scholarship. He’ll walk on officially and play football. Then be offered a football scholarship IF NEEDED.

At least 2 are not going to be part of this class.

Saw some rumors on this site that Clowney is not in touch with coaches and having personal issues in family. That could mean the Saftey team mate of his that's committed could be looking also. Could be reason for the Greene commit today at saftey.

I'm still not sold on the kid from Haynesville La. He looks more like a La Tech prospect than an LSU kid.

I feel like everyone would exploit this if true

Edit: just read in the commitment thread that he's super bright and may end up on academic scholarship.

100% legal. But it gas to be approved by the NCAA. I doubt he’ll have any issues.

Apparently, he already has 60 accredited hrs and will show up a junior academically. Not sure how that happens or works but props to him.

Why would you think his commitment has any effect on Gibbs?

Apparently, he's taking a slew of AP classes and the credits count and are fully transferable. That's awesome!

hard limit

Please stop using the term hard limit or hard cap. This is a complete fallacy as it relates to teams' ability to "back count".

I do believe our limit this year is 25, though.

I believe to be on academic scholarship, a player has to not have been a recruited athlete. No visits, letters, phone calls, etc. otherwise, he counts regardless of academic or athletic scholarship.

Perhaps he would count against the 85 and not the 25. That would still be huge.
