I honestly dont understand going after this guy. Maybe we're desperate for mutliple portal TEs but this guy was not good this year.
53.7 PFF grade, 56.0 run block. He couldnt run block better than what we had basically and is probably not even as good a receiving threat as Pimpton.
Landing Hasz would be great but a 2nd TE I thought we would get as a blocker and this guy really aint it.
the Purdue TE is a good receiver but also not much of a blocker

Hasz from Arky has a brother at Ole Miss and he is from Memphis which is very close to Oxford

Koziol has an elite overall grade at 89.0, run block of only 64.3 but decent enough there. Koziol is more like Mason Taylor I think than anyone in the portal.
Would love to grab him but havent heard our name attached to him (yet). 6'7 237 is an imposing dude.
He did explode this season compared to his first 2 at Ball St.

Thanks, I saw them play a few times and he stood out. He doesn’t move like Taylor but not many do, and it looked like he had soft hands for such a big guy. He committed to Louisville out of the portal last year but returned to Ball State. When their coach was fired I thought there would be a good chance he got back in.
