Good news is LSU is in his top 3 with Ohio St. and Oregon.
Bad news is his dad is the WR coach at Oregon

Johnson currently has 11 scholarship offers. In addition to Ohio State his list includes Oregon, LSU, Florida State, Arizona, Cal, Louisville, Mississippi State, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Buckeyes are among Johnson’s top choices. “They’ll be in my recruiting process all the way,” Johnson said. “I really like them. I like LSU a lot. Ohio State I like a lot. I like Oregon a lot. It’s those three.”

Mom really wants him at Oregon.
Ohio State is his dream school.

I feel like we've had a lot of kids interested in us recently whose father either played or coached in the NFL.

Maybe LSU is shifting he majority of its focus to getting a top flight QB for next class because the writing is on the wall with the ones they want in this one?

Give his dad a hefty raise and hire him at LSU. Problem solved.

I read a quote a couple days ago where he said the fact that his dad is a coach at Oregon won't play a role in his recruitment.

So that means Oregon and Ohio State are out, right?

Sorry, but that's not how the mom thing works. We lose out both ways on that one.

He gone. Moms only work against us, if she wants her son at LSU he's gone. But if she wants him elsewhere we're SOL

True. Coach has to work on keeping moms indifferent.
