Hey cry babies, Hootie and CamRob aren't in Bama uniforms yet. Nut up and sleep well tonight. Tomorrow's gonna be a great day.
Agreed, but CRob will be at Bama. Nothing he has done so far has told me otherwise

I just don't get Hootie's thinking here. LSU is clearly, clearly the better place for him in almost all aspects:
Proximity: We are closer
National Championships: We go to a title game every 4 years. Yes, recent history suggest he will have a better opportunity to play for a national title at Bama, but there is a 25% chance he will play for the MNC at LSU if he stays 4 years.
Draft potential: Patrick Peterson, Mo Claiborne, Eric Reid, Tharold Simon, Brandon Taylor, Ron Brooks, Tyrann Mathieu all drafted in the last 3 years. I'm sure Bama has plenty db's drafted as well but the point is, we are right there with them.
Playing time: I have no idea about Bama's roster but he would literally walk onto to the field from day 1 at LSU with a 50% chance to start.
I say all this to point out that if he doesn't want to come here, its not for "football" or "business" reasons. It's just that he simply wants to play for Alabama. The smart "business" decision would be to come here.

Losing CROb and Hootie to your biggest rival cause they would not take Cameron (who is highly rated too) - seems like a less than stellar move.
Just imho
Thinking CRob and Hootie are going to Bama because Simms is going to Bama is totally stupid. The two much more talented guys would not follow the far less talented player...Just stupid

what bird is Les flying in? King Air 200 (N511TA) registered to Air-Med in Lafayette went from BR to Monroe earlier, scheduled to go to Beaumont later. (Brown?)

I'm not sure what plane he's on, but Miles is visiting Hootie then Brown tonight.

this must be it then...I think he's used planes registered to Air Med before. If he's on schedule then his visit with Hootie is about done.

Whatever. They can say whatever they want but something tells me if Sims came to LSU they'd still be going to Bama. They just don't want to be the bad guys and admit that they're doing this for themselves, for whatever reason.

Air Med = Acadian Ambulance Inc.
they are tied in with LSU very well... the Sturlese award is a memorial for one of their founders...
and of course the picture provided for the plane

Nice try. Nobody is refuting the importance of recruiting. We all agree that recruiting is the biggest factor in being successful on the field.
Saying that Les is a better recruiter than coach sounded like a smear to me. Maybe it's not.

according to the empirical data since 2000 there is a 100% chance he will play for a national title if he stays all 4 years.

i don't mean to be a weenie, but neither one of you understands odds. As you seem to understand, the 25% pertains to the odds in a given year (based on recent data). However, the odds don't add. If they did, then every two times you flipped a coin you'd get one heads and one tails.
umm, if we go to a NC every 4 years, and he stays 4 years, and the trend continues, yes there is a 100% chance he will play for a NC at some point in his college career.
yall are both right, one is talking about odds in his career, one is talking about odds in a given year

Totally agree - just do not understand why the entire group of Top Louisiana recruits would not get together and go all in for LSU this year.
I might understand a kid wanting to go far out of state but to AL??
