Both Livy and Sav had beautiful beam exhibitions. Their scores were considerably higher than Sierra’s and Jeff’s.

Keep em out there we’re going to need everything we have to beat Oklahoma.

Do we not practice landings in practice? We have not nailed an entire meet all season. We have everything in place to win a title this year, but it looks like we’ll give it up because we can’t stick shite.

We need a 49.6+ on every event to realistically compete with OU.

We probably should have a higher score. Judges were very tight tonight. Plus Hailey and Jackson didn't compete on floor. Kj stepped out on her floor. So iam happy with a 198.250.

After seeing Aleah on bars yesterday, I'm in disbelief they couldn't find another dismount for her. That routine is 10worthy until that point.

Idk why lsu can’t teach her a new dismount this offseason

It's like they did not learn anything with Ruby Harrold and front landings on bars

Another team to watch besides Oklahoma is Cal. They scored a 198.5 last night which allows them to count it. Their highest score is a 198.55. They have one more meet this weekend so most likely they will move into the 2nd spot. LSU really would benefit from stuck dismounts in post season.

We were so mad watching that last night. It was truly perfection up to the dismount. Unbelievable. What a waste of a guaranteed high score each week, all because of a dismount that has been proven to not work for Aleah.

Aleah is incredibly talented, super versatile, she has learned lots of skills on the spot in recent years from elite to college. LSU could teach her an easier dismount easily this offseason if they actually wanted to

The fact that she competed a double tuck out of a clear hip circle and STUCK IT at 2022 Asian Games only adds to my frustration. This is the type of decision I will always question, no matter how vehemently people wanna defend this coaching staff.

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about her sticking that dismount this summer! She could definitely go 9.9-10 every time with that dismount. I don’t get the current one she has either.

So who would yall take out of bars if Aleah is an option this postseason?

Aleah should 100% not be an option with that dismount. I can’t see Jay doing that, because there aren’t any glaring form errors in the lineup currently - the real issue is just a critical inability to stick any landings.

My guess is that she would go in Ashley’s spot

I’d take out Alexis because of her dismount. Even when she sticks, it’s wonky.

I have to agree. Ashley is really hitting her stride. I wouldn’t take her out! But I would only put in Aleah for Alexis if she had a dismount she could stick consistently.

Is there any chance we might see Olivia and/or Sav on beam in post season? Both had very nice routines, and I think at least one of them scored a 9.90. And maybe it was just home scoring, but it seems Olivia gets some scores that area little generous. We have been starting off beam having to climb out of a hole lately. It’s late to be changing things up, but we need to pull out all of the stops in post season.

LSU should have pushed way harder than they have to give both reps and opportunities but given it’s so late in the season you likely won’t see any of those routines on post season. Had they gotten in the lineups the last few weeks one could have made it but feels too little too late…

Same way we are not putting out six 10.0 vaults in post season..
