Powerful tumbling. She will shine at LSU!

Finally getting around to watching LSU vs OU. I'm actually to the point where I hate OU gymnastics more than I hate Alabama football. At this point I think Jay just needs to tell the girls to land with your feet as wide as possible like OU, legit wider than your shoulders like you're doing a dead lift, so you stick every landing. Their landings seriously drive me nuts.

Florida is racking up with HIGH scores at the TWU meet.
Bars 49.60, Beam 49.80 .

They’re a 2 event team. Vault and Floor are both less than mediocre for them every week, sometimes bars and sometimes beam too. I don’t want to say it’ll be an easy win for us but as long as we are normal, we’ll walk away with the win

Who are we subbing in tomorrow? Are we giving chio any breaks? I kinda thought they would sub her on fx last night. Maybe put her in 6th and if you don’t need her scrap her? I also understand it’s a podium meet so they may want to get the girls some experience but I don’t want them being too fatigued going into sec’s.

I think we should let Mustari or Jeffrey go in for her on bars, Put Coen and or Ulrich in on beam for someone and if her body is feeling ok, let Konnor do floor (or Ulrich who has a serviceable routine) Also if she’s competition ready, let Chase anchor vault to get the competition rust knocked off of her cuz we’re gonna need her come post season.

What’s up with Chase? I was so hoping to see her this season. Is she recovering from something?

As much as I love Jeff, I think Mustari has a higher scoring potential. Jeff’s landing really hurts her.

i understand and respect that Haley has higher scoring potential than Alexis but Jeff has significantly more experience competing in general in college and especially on podium than Haley does. It can really throw off your swing if you’re not used to it

Looks like both Mustari and Jeffrey are in on bars today in place of Zeiss and Blackson respectively

I didn’t really see anything that showed Haley deserving a 9.775. Maybe a short handstand but that was it. Anyone else see something?

Looks like a 9.825 routine it was pretty clean minus step on dismount

Moving forward it looks like Kylie gets scored better on floor and beam. Take out who you will. Ashley is back on bars I know they say not to adjust lineups but I would switch her and Madison. Am surprised we don’t try anyone else on vault today. Is Vic’s better than Madi’s? Any word on Chase or Molly?

She had bent elbows on her maloney catch, was short on the blind change handstand on the low bar and took multiple steps on the dismount after underrotating it

Decisively so. Madi has always had trouble with that vault, even at Denver

ETA: Vic keeps her legs glued together on the block and gets more height on the vault than Madi which helps her find the landing more easily
