me saying “her whack arse mom” was a reference to Lily’s mom being exposed for money laundering theft and fraud at their club gym during Lily’s freshman year and essentially steal
Speaking of steal I am still pissed that Pederson's floor was judged teh equal of Amari and Kaliyah's which allowed Oklahoma to steal the national championship. Bread and butter compared to dynamic high flying floor.

Wow! I had no idea that happened. I don’t blame Tatum for wanting nothing to do with them. Hopefully Lily’s mom got arrested or faced some kind of consequences…that is really messed up!

I agree with you. The college programs and fan communities are getting tired of the same team being given grace in scoring year in and out to win the championship. This travesty was evident in comments on social media. The NCAA better realize this before the support starts dwindling for the sport. Coaches have to be concerned as well with this happening each year. OU needs to be forced to compete higher level tumbling on floor or the judges need to award teams with higher levels of tumbling. I hope the Tigers can get the win next year. Also, the number 1 team always gets the night session which scores higher literally cutting out any wins for national titles for the afternoon sessions. The NCAA needs to address this issue.

While I agree that OU gets preferential scoring LSU wins this year if we have a solid vault rotation. The only person that scored over 9.9 for us was Chio. LSU used to have a great vault rotation and it was our weakest event this year. You go back to getting scores of the past several years and LSU wins the NC going away this year. Or clean up a couple of steps/hops on beam rotation and we win

This has been an issue for LSU for a while. The coaching should make time for repetitions in sticking dismounts on beam and bars during practice. This is how OU gets so many sticks. The coaches should enforce this as a key factor in keeping tenths that are lost in competition. As for vault, the 1 1/2 is difficult to master. I'm not sure what the answer is to vault unless we recruit more gymnasts with traditional vault entries such as Haleigh Bryant's vault.

They do enforce this and they do several sticking drills etc in the gym- sometimes it's just not your day or your body is hurting (it hurts to stick landings)...or you just get ahead of yourself. It happens. It is sports. OU Doesn't stick all their landings- We had vault rotations like we they did- once every season where 4 or 5 stick in a row- there's just happened to be at the semifinal. It's easy to sit here and criticize what we think the coaches should be doing more of etc- but honestly- that's just not how it works. Our coaches do plenty- and Vault is still one of our best events and will continue to get stronger as the years go on with the upcoming talent we have coming in.

I am super excited Jay and crew have started getting more L10's than Elite's. Love the elite's skills but they come in with so many injuries. Obvioulsy this is a generalization but true for the most part. I think we needed better beamers this year to win in truth. Vault was what it was with no depth. I am really excited for next season to see what the newbies and transfers can bring. Also looking forward to more Haley and Elyse next season!
