I'm seeing a few down votes. I would love to hear what y'all think the roster will look like next year.

I just think it's impossible to predict the roster next year, right now. I mean honestly, there are chances anyone could go, we could get people we don't even know about yet. Charles Manning turns 22, maybe he wants to go play in the G League. I doubt it and I hope not, but if Gaines, Kuminga, Thomas, Cook, Smart...he's not going to get any playing time. His best chance is playing above Cook and maybe getting 10 minutes. Maybe if Smart stays Manning goes? Or Vice Versa.

Watford and Smart should not leave for the NBA...but lots of kids do and it's not about what they should do, it's about what they want to do. We as fans have no idea really what they're thinking.

Then Cisse is reclassifying and Kuminga almost definitely is. If that happens, I think we have a better chance to get both than to miss on both.

Embody said we’re only taking one of Kuminga and Cisse, but I refuse to believe LSU is going to turn down a lottery pick

I just can’t see Manning struggling to get 10 minutes. Before his injury, he was trending towards being our best player this year Even with the addition of the talented freshmen class, I’m pretty confident he’d still be our best perimeter defender. Although a small sample size, he has also shot the ball well from 3.

It's really because he thinks we already have Anselem in the bag and if we landed Cisse as well, Kuminga just isn't coming here. Kuminga is just a huge wild card right now so it's not a guy we can count on at all. Looks like we feel very good about Anselem and Cisse is a legit shot as well. If we added both, that means we're bringing 9 new players at that point leaving room for only 4 returning guys. Knowing Williams is likely gone, if Watford, Smart, Days and Manning all wanted to come back it's tough to "replace" any those guys and feel good about it, now if it's with the #1 player in the country, so be it, but you also still want a solid corps of returning players and IMO best case scenario is likely Anselem/Cisse close and return those 4 guys. I just dont buy into the Kuminga thing right now and I think the coaches are just trying to close with the more sure things. Dont think we'd stop recruiting Kuminga, just saying that's more along shot than people think compared to Anselem/Cisse.

I also dont think they are actively looking to replace Hyatt and Bishop but also wont turn any of Anselem, Cisse or Kuminga. In cases where you feel like you can upgrade yourself, you just do it if possible.

Well you have to read what I said. If we somehow got Kuminga, he and Thomas are playing 30 mins a piece at the SG and SF. So where does Manning’s minutes come from?

I doubt we get Kuminga so yes, Manning will have a large role. But if you get Kuminga (who will probably be a top 5 nba draft pick) and Thomas (who might be the best pure scorer in the class) then how dies Manning get on the floor? Charles Manning is actually my favorite player on the team and I’ve said that for a long time now, but it’s about being realistic looking at the other players.

I worry about Georgetown when it comes to Cisse. Ewing is somewhat of an idol for him. Although I've learned never to count Wade out, that's going to be our biggest competition if/when he reclassifies.

You are pigeonholing kids into a position. Wade clearly favors 4 guys on the perimeter so there could be two guards WITH those two guys. Especially if those two guards are 6'4 and 6'6 next to the 6'9 Kuminga. Also, while LSU was only 8 deep last year... no freshman got to 30 minutes. If LSU is 9 or 10 deep next year... Expect 26 MPG for those guys if that is the case (look at the VCU 16-17 stats).

Has Mwani Wilkinson dipped in the rating some? I thought he was around a top 60 player but now I'm seeing him just inside the top 100. Suprised me because I thought he was having a good season, but I might be remembering wrong

no he was outside the Top 100 of composite until mid January then jumped into Top 100 in the 90s.

Wade needs to have the Calipari mentality - sign as many top 30 players or 5 stars as you can each year and let the playing time sort itself out. If you have an open spot you sign the best player you can and not worry about all of the other issues.

Absolutely. I kind of think that's what he is doing now. With the Alleva and scandal seemingly a bit behind him, he's attacking this offseason with a vengeance.

Would feel great about closing this class with Anselem and Cisse.

Top 5 class for sure.

Crean really 2015 Johnny Jones’d this season for Georgia. All the momentum and talent and he deflates the base with a gigantic whiff

How could you see what Crean has done over the years, and especially how much they lost despite Edwards this year, and be interested in UGA...
