he plays pretty much every position but catcher and hit over .300 with a few hr's as a soph last year. this summer in the few summer games curtis got in he hit like .550 and looked really good at 3rd.

London Padgett the starting QB played short this summer, he played 2nd last year. they also have an incoming freshman Braylon Jeffrey that played some short for varsity this summer and looked really good. Wouldnt be shocked if Dufrene ended up playing some short too.

I've seen quite a few skeptical that he'll contribute early. I think he comes in with a chip on his shoulder and proves to be a valuable arm right from jump.
6'4 lefty with some meat on the bones already. Mid 90s heater with control and more left in the velo tank. Yes, please. He's young but I really don't see a glaring knock on him.
I know, I know...MLB must've thought differently. Only 2 high school LHP went before him. He was picked as one of the top 10 high school pitchers. That's far from kicking him to the curb. Cleveland just didn't have the money he wanted.
This is a steal.
ETA: I think the one knock I could see is that he could be hittable for SEC hitters, despite the velo and pitch mix. By all accounts, he won't be a kid that has trouble throwing strikes.
