If tweet fails to load, click here.Both Simpson and Jordan are on him. Would be a 5th year player (missed '23 with TJ). Went through senior day festivities at OSU. Really interesting numbers. Dominated the cape, couldn't throw strikes his first 2 years in Stillwater, was hit pretty hard his final year. Almost similar to Shores where he's got absurd stuff but it just finds barrels.

He also follows multiple Mississippi State baseball coaches on twitter, all of whom were former UVA coaches, but not Mississippi State baseball itself lol. Does not follow Mississippi State baseball on IG.
There's also a few Tennessee and Alabama follows sprinkled in on both socials, but LSU has by far the most. Not to be a dick, but for other schools, he's following like Justin Lebron or RJ Austin. I don't see any version of a Connor Benge as an IG follow lol. Maybe he visited for the super?
So he's either between LSU and Mississippi State, or he is all LSU and was simply recruited to UVA out of high school.

I guess that's what happened when you get sent home early and don't have to prep for a CWS. That, and the fact that they had like 27 freshman on the roster last year. I guess Tony didn't like what he had there.

I wonder why the push to get so many commits announced all of a sudden like there is some deadline. Is there something after this weekend which would complicate Vitello's recruiting efforts?

Ya'll probably already read this stuff, but I didn't realize that NIL deals will still be allowed and not take from the capped revenue sharing pool of that school as long as the Deloitte clearinghouse ensures it maintains a "fair market value".
It seems that programs like LSU in Baseball will be able to utilize their sport-specific brand to gain an edge in securing funding for their players.
