Does anyone have an update on Sheerin’s injury? I forgot to inquire Monday at the Coaches Committee meeting.

Came here this morning looking for an update.

Looking at Baseball America's most recent ranking of the 2026 high school class, the two new commits come in at 49 (Davis) and 112 (McLeod).

Here are the blurbs on each:

quote:

Davis is an athletic lefthanded hitter with a short, quick swing. He’s comfortable using the opposite field with a stroke typically geared for spraying line drives to all fields with gap power. His plus speed makes him a threat on the basepaths—both to stretch out extra bases and steal bags—and gives him a chance to stick in center field.

quote:

McLeod has a big fastball that reaches 94 mph with the potential for more in the tank as he continues to fill out his strong 6-foot-6 frame. Like most pitchers his age and size, McLeod is still learning to repeat his delivery to throw more consistent strikes, but it’s a power fastball with downhill angle. His fastball is his predominant pitch, one he leans on heavily, though at the end of the 2024 summer circuit his curveball showed signs of improvement, with a changeup rounding his repertoire.

Tanner Reaves could pass for Dylan Crews in a dimly lit room.

Also, quite a few mustaches in the bunch.

I always get a good chuckle out of the bio pics.

Thanks for posting.
