Thanks for the clarification. My finger is no longer hovering over the panic button

I assumed you were talking about Cooper Williams, not Evans. Guess they both fit.
Side note: is this the best group of 4 freshmen pitchers LSU has ever had in 1 class?

Cal shortstop PJ Moutzouridis is in the portal now. Really good glove. Can hit but was better as a freshman than as a sophomore. Not sure if we'll jump in on him, but he's a dude.

Realistic Want List:
Carson Bailey - freshman lefty that can extend
Landon Mack - see above but RH
Cal Higgins - need some reliable lefties
Danny Lachenmayer - just love the extra eligibility
Bryce Calloway - 2-way will be useful next year
Grant Gallagher - seems like Jay could mold him into something special
Honorable mention:
Boston Torres
Luke Dotson
Ethan Harden

Who are you alluding to? The only guys I can think of would be Cooper Williams and Larson? Larson I half understand since he’ll have to work for playtime, but Williams lines up to get serious innings next year maybe even as a starter?

This probably doesn't mean anything but on a slow news day: Tutko started following Cam Flukey from Coastal. He is also followed by Caleb Longley.
I believe he also started following Carson Bailey today. So Bailey is now followed by basically everyone except Jay.

Jackson Soucie from South Carolina in the portal, we were on him as a juco recruit. He could reunite with his juco coach at Western Kentucky.

Love that he’s going to be great next year

If tweet fails to load, click here. Also Jackson Kircher is from Little Rock so he could be a hog too.

I was really looking forward to seeing Sheerin pitch this year, it would be nice to have him available at the CWS. The last midweek game that was rained out was bad timing.

Hayes Holton flipped from Mississippi State to Texas. I guess we weren’t really after him.

Came here to see what the story with this kid was. #1 prospect in LA for 2026. His stuff can’t be bad if Texas is using a spot on him.

Kade Woods in the portal now. He has a year of eligibility left but went through senior day stuff, so it was decided a while back he wouldn’t be here next season. He’s throwing in the MLB draft league this summer.

What is our thoughts on Larson? More I think about it, DH, RF, and First is all up for grabs next year (him and Brown should be in one of each). Assuming he has a good NIL deal as well, I don’t know if I would portal. Could be a big piece next year.

Depends on if Stanfield comes back.
If he does, the outfield is set. If not, left field is open. There's too many questions there right now, like what if Dean Moss gets to campus or we get someone out of the portal?
I don't think he comes back to DH. 1st base is likely his best chance at playing time (that he would want). Should commit to that this offseason and play exclusively first in the cape, which is where I imagine he'll go.

Do you think Stanfield has a spot in the outfield? Penciling him in feels like Jay would be lacking power again. I get the defense and other aspects, but feels like Curiel is playing CF.
