We had 26 play last weekend but that doesn't include someone like Ware who didn't pitch but I know had to be on the roster. So maybe it's 27?

UVA also lost the fsu series due to shooting that was a rpi killer for them

I know we're on a few portal outfielders, but I'm hoping we stay with what we already have there.
We have Curiel and Brown returning. Potentially Larson returning. I don't see Stanfield coming back, I think he goes pro.
Either Brown or Larson could factor in at 1B if we don't get a slugger out of the portal (I kinda like where we are there too).
Incoming we have Daniel Harden and some combo of William Patrick, Dean Moss, Jaden Fauske, Jack Ruckert, and Mason Braun.
Arrambide can also factor in at 1B or RF on days he's not catching if we get Hodge or Serna to campus. We're going to want Arrambide's bat in the line up more than just on days he catches.
I know the draft will pop at least a couple of the guys mentioned, but the ceilings of the guys that will make it to campus makes me rather roll with them vs bringing in someone from the portal.

I have no inside knowledge, but I feel like Stanfield is a decent candidate to return for his senior season. He'd lose any leverage he might have, but what are the odds he gets much in the draft anyway? A good defensive CF with minimal power typically isn't a hot commodity, is it?

Welp I just went to look bc he hasn’t posted much since the season began which only confirms my suspicions that he was Tutko, but Tigah14 no longer has a profile on TD. CJJ probably didn’t like him giving us inside info.

Agree. At some point it would be nice to have a team that grows up together rather than constantly turning over so many players

It wasn't Tutko, that much I know. He was obviously told something because at one point he deleted many of his older post.

I think Jay basically indicated that will be our approach this year with being more selective about who we sign out of the portal.

Who takes Paul's spot on the postseason roster? I cant think of another position player that isnt either already at a summer assignment or in the portal. So looking at pitchers I'm hoping Fontenot is there but I would've expected him to pitch at some point last weekend if he was already on the roster. Maybe he's the replacement
