I'm not sure if Paul was on the active postseason roster. I know he was there in the dugout. I think the roster limit is 27. We had 25 play-- 14 hitters and 11 pitchers. I would guess that Ware and Benge were the other 2 active. I guess Benge could have not been since he hasn't pitched in a while. But also, every other player who's entered the transfer portal wasn't on the postseason roster for sure. I'm not sure I'd expect the circumstances to be different for Paul.

Searched it on google. It said post season rosters are 26. There was a note about 27 being able to dress. Not sure how accurate it is.

I wonder if Benge is on the postseason roster. He's not playing summer ball yet anywhere is he? I also wonder if he's been dealing with some type of injury. I wonder if he will go pro. I wonder if he will transfer. I wonder if he will be on the roster next year. He's kinda been a mystery since his last outing.

I don't know if anyone saw the tweets from Ross Dellinger and Kendall Rogers tonight about the House settlement. It sounds like there may have been a rush to get some deals done Friday night before midnight. I'm assuming State dropped a big bag to keep Reece, but I wonder if the settlement had anything to do with that.

Really? I thought he would be able to compete for playing time next season. I remember early in the season CJJ saying his glove was there, but bat needed to catch up.

More of a guess. I have no inside info, LOL. Just going by the last few years. No one really expected Cam Johnson to leave. Of the guys in the portal now, I probably would not have thought Costello and Ryan. I just think there could be a couple guys on the post-season roster that might go look for more playing time.

Play as a freshman or transfer. I don't like this current cycle of college baseball.
My question for Ryan is: What spot did he expect to grab this season? What makes him believe he can't win the second or third job next year and take over SS in 2027? Is Jay telling these kids they won't play here? I find that hard to believe because he said many positive things about Ryan and Costello in fall and spring practices.
