when you look at all the players schools like Texas A&M, Tenn, UGA and Ark losing this year in draft competition will be fierce for players

I don't see LSU getting into bidding wars this go around

Jarren Advincula from Cal in the portal. Should be one of, if not the top ranked player in the portal.

Pretty sure he went to Holy Cross.

So you just insulted people from Jesuit. And people from Holy Cross.

There has been some talk of guys doing that just to not get bombarded. Allowing their agents to screen things. Not necessarily that they already have their spot picked.

Funny how UVA had all of these elite players yet somehow managed to miss the postseason. So either the coach was checked out, or some of thee guys aren’t as good as people think they are.

And I’ll concede it appears the ACC was better than they were given credit for.

Yeah I don't know if maybe they had some injuries early in the season or what. But their RPI was bad for a power conference team. That was the only thing that kept them out of the tournament.

You mean the guy that likely only had attention from an assistant coach who follows 95% of players that enter the portal?

Mic Paul to the portal. Not surprising considering 2 of the outfield spots, at minimum, are already taken up next year, and that doesn't take into account the possibility of Stanfield, Frey, or Larson coming back. They could all go and he'd still have trouble getting consistent PT.

Yeah he seems like a really good guy and teammate but he wants to go somewhere he can play. I think he was on the roster this past weekend.

No he hasn’t. He was in the dugout for the regional and will be playing in the California league for Santa Barbara.

Is the limit still 26? If so I think we had that many actually play. Since it can reset each round a few probably stayed around in case someone had to be replaced this week because of injury.

He was warming up the outfielders in between innings this last weekend.
